Painting donated for LGBTQI+ CAMP OUT fundraiser

I have donated one of my paintings for auction to raise funds for CAMP OUT, an Australian organisation that runs a camp for LGBTQI+ and gender diverse teens. In my teens, I would have loved a camp with open workshops and informal discussions on things like identity & what it means to be LGBTIQ-identified or questioning your gender or sexual orientation, dealing with homophobia & transphobia, coming out in highschool, coming out to parents or friends, and how to be an awesome LGBTIQ ally.

While this painting was scooped up straightaway, if you’d like to purchase any of my available works I’ll be happy to donate 25% to this great organisation. Just specify in your message!

My artwork is hanging in a Profit-for-Purpose Hotel with rooms designed by inspirational women like Sia and Sally Rugg!

Inspirational Australian women have designed rooms in two hotels that put profits towards programs supporting women and girls. Sia, Lee-Lin Chin, Nakkiah, Missy Higgins, Tina Arena, Bindi Irwin, Deborah Mailman and Sally Rugg each had input on their room designs, and the opening was good fun!

I’m so happy to be supporting by hanging a painting in Sally Rugg’s Pride room, a safe space for queer women and non-binary people. Proceeds from the sale of this piece (as well as artwork by Bluethumb Artists in other rooms) will go directly towards the frontline of Song Hotel’s programs and services. Thanks to Jenny Valentish for the great write up ‘A night in Sydney with a Sia chandelier and Bindi Irwin’s khaki shirts’ in The Guardian 🦄🌈🎉

R&D Celebrates its one year anniversary with a special group exhibition
Contemporary theory proves that time is an elastic concept based on human perception. Humans perceive the passage of time at alternate rates during periods of high stimulation and near death experience. Time is also warped by based on one’s proximity from the earth. Time and space: exhibition wherein a select group of artists explore their personal relationship with time in the context of the gallery space.

Adopt-A-Painting Project

It's a girl!

Adopt-A-Painting Project  seeks to end the sorrow of these un-hung paintings, offering a charitable alternative to the overcrowding of canvases….for just one penny.

Thanks to all who made my Adopt-A-Painting Project a great success!  Every painting listed was sold, and they are being shipped to their new homes as we speak.  I will be posting round two of these adoptable paintings in the very near future.
